The Song Ultra EV is designed for those who want to travel long distances. It features a front electric motor that produces a massive 362 hp. The car will come in two battery options: a 75.6 kWh battery pack, which offers a range of approximately 620 kilometers on a single charge. The second is an 82.7 kWh battery pack, which offers a massive range of approximately 710 kilometers on a single charge. This means there’s no need to worry about charging the car frequently.
Smart technology in the car
The car features a LiDAR sensor mounted on its roof. This is part of BYD’s exclusive God’s Eye B system. It will also feature a Level 3 ADAS system, which helps the car drive autonomously on highways and in cities. This means the car will be able to drive on its own. It also features automated parking, making it easier to park in tight spaces.
Price and when will it be launched?
This BYD car hasn’t been launched yet. It could be officially launched by the end of this year, i.e., 2026. The estimated price in China for this car is expected to be between $31,900 and $37,600 (approximately ₹2.65 million to ₹3.1 million in Indian rupees).
